Its close proximity to Zion National Park keeps the tourism healthy and Toquerville has only been a city since the year 2000.

For over 160 years residents have been enhancing the community with businesses, beautiful neighborhoods, and lots of hard work. Nestled at the foot of Pine Valley Mountain, Toquerville is unique in that it’s filled with well-kept yards, beautiful green valleys, and fertile fields.
Toquerville’s unemployment rate is only 3.4%, far below the national average and we have a comfortability index of 7.5 out of 10. Of course, it’s easy to see why as we get over 300 days of sunshine each year.
Toquerville is about five minutes from Hurricane and La Verkin and about 20 to 30 minutes from St. George and Washington. It completely surrounds Highway 17 and because of its diversity, homes can range anywhere from $150,000 up to $1.5 million.
