Looking for some of the most beautiful landscape on the planet? Then welcome to Duck Creek Village. This is Utah’s mountain retreat and year-round adventure park. This unincorporated community is located in Kane County on the edge of Cedar Mountain. Even though it is unincorporated, it does have a post office but it’s about an hour and a half away from St. George and Washington. It’s easily accessible along Interstate 15 and Highway 14, which travels through Gooseberry Point, Lone Tree Mountain, past Navajo Lake, and into the small community of Duck Creek Village.

This resort community is located near Brian Head Ski Resort, the Cedar Breaks National Monument, and Cedar City Utah. It’s defined by its scenic beauty and offers a wide range of recreational activities for all seasons. Today, if this serves as a gateway to national parks, summer hiking and fishing, camping, winter activities, and shopping. The village itself include several shops and restaurants, accommodations, cabin rentals, campgrounds, and summer and winter adventures. Some people love it so much they choose to make this community their home permanently and there are several subdivisions and developments with a variety of year-round homes to choose from.

Schools

Unfortunately, the majority of schools are located about 15 miles away in the Jordan school district. Students attend Valley Elementary school for grades kindergarten through 6th grade and Valley high school for grades 7-12. These schools are accessible along Highway 89 through Glendale, Porterville, and Mount caramel Junction. However, these schools do rank fairly high with excellent reviews from parents and teachers alike.
