The southern Utah Parade of Homes is always a prominent event in the real estate industry. But it’s not just about design trends in the newest architectural style. This is where homeowners, buyers, sellers, and the real estate professionals can browse the latest in design, what’s trending, what buyers are really looking for and the newest and innovation. Think of it as the world’s Expo for the best, newest, and most innovative in-home style designs specifically tailored to the southern Utah real estate market.
This year, 2021, the Parade of Homes will provide an amazing opportunity to see these new designs and innovations in construction by some of the top developers and builders in the country. The latest products and technology will be displayed in some form or fashion in every home. And don’t discard Utah thinking it’s not one of the best Parade of Homes in the country because it’s actually one of the most visited Parade of Homes in the western United States followed by the Salt Lake Parade of Homes in August. This will be an excellent chance to survey these stunning homes throughout St. George and southern Utah. Here’s which are likely to expect at this year’s St. George Parade of Homes.
The St. George Parade of Homes is the largest in the state featuring 29 new home designs full of extraordinary technology, innovation, and architecture. This event has a long-standing tradition of displaying some of the crème de la crème when it comes to home design and architecture.
When: February 12 through the 21st
Tickets can be purchased online or beginning February 11 at 5 PM for $16 per person with children three and under for free. Tickets purchased online will require an additional $1 fee. At the Red Cliffs Mall and Lins Market. No tickets will be sold at the actual homes. These 29 homes will be open from 10 AM until 7 PM daily closing at 5 PM on the 21st. COVID-19 Guidelines: Things are slightly different this year and it’s important for all attendees to understand the guidelines surrounding COVID-19.
- Masks are required.
- Do not enter homes if you are feeling ill, have any symptoms related to Covid-19, or have been in contact with someone with Covid-19.
- Socks are required. No bare feet allowed. Use shoe bag when provided. Booties only to be used for medical purposes or at builder’s discretion.
- All visitors need to remove ticket from lanyard and stretch arm towards host for scanning purposes. Do not make host scan your ticket when wearing around your neck.
- Social distance at least 6 feet apart. Hosts have right to limit visitors in home.
- Use hand sanitizer. DO NOT TOUCH any surface area, furniture, walls, fixtures, etc.
- Visitors have option to view Parade homes on-line through virtual tours beginning few days after start of event.
- Be respectful of hosts and adhere to their requests.
- Southern Utah Home Builders Association has the right to close any Parade home at any time due to issues related to pandemic or other circumstances.
- Refer to ticket and Parade magazine for additional terms and conditions. Visitors assume all risks and danger incidental to the event.
Homes are scattered throughout Washington County so it’s important to download the interactive map here. This is a self-guided tour so take your time, browse the homes, and explore our beautiful southern Utah area. Organizers ask that you not bring any large bags into the home and if booties are provided by the contractors please do not wear them outside. If a room is roped off, it is off-limits. They ask that you not sit on the furniture or turn on any water faucets or showerheads.
This year’s Parade of Homes has a wide variety of home styles, designs, and price points. The lowest price point is just $465,000. This is for a very beautiful, single-story, two-car garage, Sequoia home built by Ivory Homes LTD. The highest price is called the Jewel built by a J Construction Inc. This stunning desert inspired architecture is located in the Kachina Cliffs community with interior designer Heritage Home and Garden designer Joni Christiensen. It features a four car garage, two floors, five bedrooms, and 5 ½ bathrooms with just over 5100 ft.².
