Paradise Canyon

Nestled at the foot of the hills of Red Cliffs Nature Reservation, is the housing community of Paradise Canyon. This is a privately owned development run by the Homeowner’s Association and overseen by an elected Board of Directors. Head north on Bluff Street and turn left onto Snow Canyon Parkway and the neighborhood will be on the right.

The houses here are single family one and two story designs on about .25 acres. Floor plans include three and five bedrooms with two to three bathrooms. The square footage ranges from about 2,000 to 4,000 square feet and pricing from $360,000 to $600,000. They also include two to three car garages and some have RV garages. Views from the windows look out over the stunning red cliffs and wide blue skies of Southwestern Utah.

HOA

The HOA oversees the community but daily maintenance is performed by a property management company. The fees are $180 a month and are used to fund the pools, spa, clubhouse, fitness center, front yard maintenance, and cable TV. Backyards are to be maintained by the owners of the house.

The Area

Paradise Canyon is located in the northern end of Saint George, Utah. The city provides all the modern conveniences residents might want. There is shopping at various plazas, shops and the Red Cliffs Mall, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from if you head into the city. Paradise Canyon is in the Washington County School District, parents can send their kids to Lava Ridge or Coral Cliff Elementary, Snow Canyon Middle or Snow Canyon High School.

This is a great area for people who want to get out and enjoy the natural beauty of the state. The development is a short drive from the Chuckwalla trail and rock climbing spot and the partially paved Halfway Wash trail begins in the neighborhood and heads into the nature reserve. More trails can be found within the Nature Reserve and hikers have the chance of glimpsing one of the areas protected species, the desert tortoise. For a longer trip, head north on I-15 and visit Zion National Park.
