Legacy at Southgate

The Legacy at Southgate is an active adult townhouse and single-family home community located around the Southgate golf course in St. George Utah. Conveniently located between the city-owned Southgate golf course and Tonaquint Drive, just minutes from downtown St. George, this affordable townhouse community offers beautiful views, reasonably priced town houses, and PUD properties with access to an expansive clubhouse, the golf course, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a community center, tennis courts, and a relaxing spot. All the homeowner association fees cover yard maintenance, cable, landscaping, common area maintenance, and management all for around $70 -$300 per month. Changes in homeowner association fees depend on the type of home and the amenities provided as well as the type of maintenance each home needs. Most homes are between 1300 and 4000 ft.² so there is quite a bit of variety on styles, designs, and price ranges at the Legacy at Southgate.

Because this is an adult community there is no school information, however, children and adults under the age of 55 may visit and there are very few restrictions and regulations. But for research purposes, homes around this area are typically assigned to the Bloomington elementary school, and the Dixie middle school.

Southgate Golf Course

Southgate is known for being one of the most player friendly courses in the area. The course is designed along the Santa Clara River and traverses the foothills of the Tonaquint Mountains. Many homes have beautiful views of downtown St. George. This walkable course is designed for those looking to exercise their way through their golf game. A very easy course that’s close enough to downtown get far enough away to feel nestled into the environment. The narrow fairways and hills ups your game and the community features a game improvement center with PGA professionals to help hone in the way you play.

This is a great walking course as the front nine requires accuracy to successfully negotiate the waterways and the back nine are slightly longer adding the element of risk and reward with several obstacles ideal for all levels of ability. Undergone extensive redesign over the last few years and features the ideal red rock back drop.
