Can a Utah condo association ban rentals? ▾

Yes. Under Utah Code 57-8-10.1, a condo association can limit the number and length of rentals or prohibit them, as long as the restriction is in the declaration. It can also set a minimum lease term of six months or less by rule. Read the declaration and rules before buying a condo you plan to rent.

Do Utah condo associations have to plan for repairs? ▾
