Hospital Campus Grounds Focus on Light and Life
Intermountain has worked to make the hospital campus aesthetic and peaceful. Near the campus’s center is the Ruth S. Nielson Plaza of Peace featuring the Tree of Light and Life. Commissioned by Robert T. Cochran. In loving memory of Virginia Coffin Cochran and Marilyn Fisk Cochran dedicated in November 2003. Seating, native plants, and more invite visitors to rest and reflect in the shadow of this work of art. Aesthetics are important to Intermountain here and a part of the facility’s approach to comprehensive care to create a well-rounded experience for the ill, their families, and friends.
