Just 30 minutes outside Aurora is Fishlake National Forest, where visitors can enjoy a beautiful lake and a famous grove of aspens called Pando. Visiting the aspen grove in the fall is particularly popular, when you can enjoy being totally surrounded by autumn foliage. Pando is the largest organism on the planet; it is on the bucket list of many nature lovers, and residents of Aurora can visit it any time. The lake is also an ideal location for anglers, hence its name. You’ll also be just two hours from Bryce Canyon and two and a half hours from Zion National Park.
